"Throughout my courses we were lucky enough to go on many trips. We enjoyed a residential to the Yorkshire dales climbing Pen-y-ghent which taught us a lot about ourselves and each other as a group. We learnt the independence of cooking our own meals and taking responsibility to keep the place tidy. We worked as a team to get up the mountain as some found it tougher than others. We were all there to push each other throughout the duration of the residential, it was a truly memorable experience for all of us. Once I’ve completed my qualifications, I want to join the Police force as a Police Constable – my studies have taught me the leadership skills and teamwork skills which will be very important for joining the police force."
