Enjoy working outside rather than in a classroom? Do you enjoy working with animals? Then a horticulture course could be for you.

Working in a realistic working environment, you will learn practical experience of handling, accommodating, and feeding animals, as well as developing the skills to take care of plants.

You will also learn about the skills needed to work in the Land-Based industries including being organised, researching, team working, completion of tasks using the correct equipment, independence, and being intuitive when working with plants and animals, estate skills and wildlife surveying. In addition, you will investigate the Land-Based sector and develop a Personal Progression plan to help you with your next steps in the industry.
