Kate studied Level 2 Beauty Therapy and Level 3 Spa Therapy at Selby College, before progressing onto a Higher National Certificate/Higher National Diploma in Hair and Beauty Management.

However, studying for five years at Selby College wasn’t enough for Kate, who returned to carry out her teaching training qualification at the College. Whilst training, Kate taught Nail enhancement techniques as part of the Beauty teaching team.

Kate has since established her own business called Stand Out Nails and Beauty. Kate's business has been very successful and has over 1,500 Instagram followers for her outstanding nail designs!
