In September 2021, Selby College welcomed 14 brand-new Apprentices from convenience giant Greencore.
The Level 3 Food and Drink Maintenance Engineer Apprentices will spend the first two years of their Apprenticeship at the College, on a three-week in, three-week out basis. The third and fourth years of the Apprenticeship will be work-based training, covering all aspects of engineering, electrical and mechanics within the food safety industry.
The Apprentices, whose ages range from 16 to 35, are a mixture of new and existing employees of Greencore.
