I am a trained and qualified Chartered Accountant with what is now EY UK. I have almost forty years’ experience in commerce and industry at all levels of a business. I currently undertake short term contracts and projects at a range of organisations. I have a strong belief that our young people are our future and the better education we provide for them, the better that future will be for them and for all of us.

I live near Howden with my partner of thirty years, Gillian. I enjoy reading, travelling and I am a Distinguished Toastmaster. I am also the owner of 3 classic cars, the oldest being nearly 100 years old.
