Julie Watson is a Committee Member and joined the Governing Board after seeing the number of Higher Education students at the College increasing. Julie brings great experience in the Higher Education sector to the board, through her experience as a Lecturer and through developing degree programmes in Science and Engineering in the North East. Following her time in the sector, she was ordained and later moved to Selby where she became one of the clergy at Selby Abbey. She enjoys travelling to enjoy the wildlife of the world, walking with her dog and trying all kinds of creative craft including silversmithing, stained glass, weaving and knitting.
