The students of Selby College were lucky enough to receive a visit from the Easter Bunny last Thursday, to celebrate the start of the Easter holidays and a treat in advance of exam season looming!
Kindly sponsored by the Student Union, all students were invited to take part in the ‘Easter Extravaganza’ held outside over lunchtime.
A delicious feast of burgers, hotdogs and sides was rustled up by Smokies BBQ, with LoubyLou’s Ice Cream van onsite to serve up some super ices and lollies, with free food and ice cream vouchers for the students to collect from the Student Union stand.
The stall was also the starting point for an Easter Egg treasure hunt around the Jubilee and Sixth Form Academy buildings, with numbered clues and chocolate prizes for those that completed the hunt - and their names going into a prize draw to win an Easter Hamper!
The Easter Bunny (who seemed to have a familiar voice and hop as he wiggled his tail!) handed out eggs to students and staff around campus and happily posed for a few selfies on the mound.
