Selby College’s Spa Therapy students attend Dermalogica training seminar

Earlier this month, Selby College’s Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Spa Therapy students headed out to the Dermalogica Training Academy at Monks Cross near York for the day as part of the department’s ongoing partnership programme with the Professional Skin Care Brand, which has over 6,000 skin centres and stores.

They attended the International Dermal Institute’s seminar on High Tech Treatments, which consisted of a seminar, practical demonstration and practical workshop.

The group were set a social media task to upload pictures throughout the day of their experience, with the best insight of the training going to winning student Gemma Toone.

Lecturer in Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy, Ally Dallimore said: “I’d like to say a big thank you to Dermalogica’s instructor Rosie for being so fantastic, the students have learnt so much from the day’s training, as well as all the information they were given.”
