As part of its commitment to delivering an excellent service to its students and stakeholders, Selby College has launched a brand-new intuitive website.
Designed to bring Selby College’s personality, state-of-the-art campus, vast range of courses and its supportive and friendly staff to life, the new user-friendly website offers an engaging and interactive user experience.
The website has also been created with new and prospective students in mind, offering them an easy and engaging way to explore the vast range of academic programmes the College offers and the potential progression routes and careers available. This includes A Levels, Vocational courses, Apprenticeships, Higher Education, Adult Learning and Professional Courses for Employers.
Users are also able to explore the College’s state-of-the-art facilities using a virtual 3D campus map, as well as find out more about the application process, the support services available and transport to the College. Prospective students are also able to browse through the College’s various prospectuses, as well as hear from previous students regarding their experience at Selby College.
For those interested in applying to Selby College, applicants are able to use the ‘add to my courses’ feature which enables them to add the courses they wish to study to a ‘basket’, then apply in one single process.
“The new website launch will bring the College’s core values, liveliness and bustling campus to life digitally, reiterating what a great place to learn Selby College is,” said Phil Sayles, Principal and Chief Executive at Selby College. “We wanted to create a seamless user experience where potential students could easily browse courses, read about real experiences from Selby College students and gain insight into what it’s really like to study at the College. Our brand-new website does exactly this, whilst also creating a sense of place and familiarity for our existing students and stakeholders.”
Current students can use the website for information on all aspects of College life including term dates, enrichment, exams, events, the student council and the latest College news.
The website also has dedicated spaces for parents, employers and schools, ensuring easy access to the latest content and news of interest to them.
The website has been designed by Float Design, a web-development company specialising in digital platforms for education, alongside the College’s marketing department.
