Selby College Futsal Team reach Semi Finals of FA People’s Cup

Our Sport department's male Futsal team recently reached the FA People’s Cup final at St George’s Park on the 27th April. They progressed from the group stages to the knockout round, reaching the semi-finals, but unfortunately lost out to Boubacar 2-0 after beating them in the group stages 2-0.

The team won two regional qualifiers at the University of Huddersfield in March to reach the finals at the home of England's national sides in the country's biggest five-a-side football competition. More than 5,000 teams took part in the FA People’s Cup this season with more than 27,000 participants playing across 15 categories.
