We recently held a Learning Festival at Selby College, where curriculum staff could share their tips, techniques and recommended learning platforms with each other to enhance learning.

As part of this, we asked curriculum staff to think of smarter and more creative summative assessment techniques which could not only help students develop new skills for students, but also save tutors’ time.

We also hosted a ‘Good Practice Showcase’, where curriculum areas where able to demonstrate an idea or a learning tool, which has either saved them time or enhanced the learning experience of students (or both).

There was some fantastic ideas presented, which made it hard to choose just one winner! Congratulations to both the individuals and teams who won an award.
