Learning Resource Centre (LRC), Academy Building

The LRC is the hub at the heart of learning and teaching at Selby College.

With plenty of study places and computers for both individual and group work, including a separate silent study room, it offers a dynamic and flexible learning space that supports your studies to help you fulfil your potential and be confident to learn independently. For anyone unsure before, learning in lockdown has likely highlighted just how vital independent learning really is.

Yet the LRC is not just about the physical space and resources you can see when you’re on campus – the hub supports you with e-resources accessible 24/7, help to hone your research skills and can provide hardware and tech accessories for you to borrow and use at home. During the pandemic, we can even arrange to deliver to your doorstep, as well as your inbox.
