BS4872:

BS 4872 Part 1 and Part 2 standard applies to a wide range of general fabrication work when an approved welding procedure test is not required. Welding tests are carried out in accordance with written instructions and the weld samples are subject to visual and destructive testing. Welder qualification to BS 4872 standard are witnessed and certified by our CSWIP approved welding inspectors.

ASME IX, BS EN 9606:

ASME IX and BS EN 9606 are the international coding standard for pressure vessels and pipe work. The completed weld samples are usually subject to x-ray/ultrasonic examination and destructive testing as required by the welding code/standard. For an additional charge both certificates can be gained from the one assessed weld test.

All candidates will be assessed for ability prior to the test being carried out. Any candidate deemed to require training before commencing a test will be advised accordingly and an individual training programme to meet the personal needs of the candidate will devised.
