This qualification aims to confirm learners' competence in a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Role or similar, that supports learning in a school environment. This course enables you to develop and demonstrate the skills and competence to work in an unsupervised role or at times in a team leading role within the school workforce.
Learners must be working, volunteering or on a practical placement in a school environment to complete this course.
This qualification is ideal if you're already working in unsupervised roles that support pupil's learning in a school environment and want to confirm your competency in the role
You could use this qualification to support your progression to further learning within the Teaching and Learning and Education sector.
Learners will be assessed by their tutor or assessor using a range of methods which could include a direct observation in the workplace, a portfolio of evidence, and written assessments.
