If you’re looking to get ahead in your job, need qualifications to get into further education or just want to update your skills, then this is the course for you.
This FREE course will help you improve your maths skills. It will also give you the chance to learn and practice new skills for dealing with everyday situations.

Learners will work to achieve a Certificate in Functional Skills Maths at Level 1 or 2, awarded by Edexcel.

The Programme will cover:

Whole Numbers
Fractions and Decimals
Common Measures
Shape and Space
Data Handling

Studies may have been completed to help the learner get ahead in their job, get them into further/higher education courses or to update their current skills.

Students must complete an initial assessment prior to starting the course, to see what level or learning is appropriate to them, most learners will likely be at entry level.

ID to be provided prior to course.

We have several different ways of learning, online training plan, BKSB resources, booklets, workshops and one-to-ones.
Learners will benefit from bringing a notepad and pen to use when learning.

Once you have completed the maths course, you will take two online tests. Our hub provides a relaxed environment in which to complete your tests. Tests are taken on a computer, which are then sent electronically to the examination body.
