Electrical Installations

This is the next progression for anyone who holds a Level 2 Electrical Installation qualification and is the progressive step towards becoming a qualified Electrician.

This qualification is the industry recognised route for Electrical Installation students looking to achieve that next level of electrical knowledge and skills, providing an in depth understanding of electrical science, electrical inspection & testing procedures, fault diagnosis and rectification and installation design.

This course covers numerous topics designed to give you a fully rounded knowledge of electrical installation that will aid practical skill.

Modules include, but are not limited to:

• Inspection and Testing

• Fault Diagnosis

• Electrical Systems Design

• Environmental Technology Systems

• Electrical Science

You will learn via taught lessons as well practical classes which will provide you with the knowledge underpinning the technical skills required.

Many of our students progress into the construction workplace or a relevant Technical Apprenticeship.

Standard Level 3 Vocational entry requirements apply - the minimum requirement is at least five GCSEs at Grade 4 or at Least 3 GCSE subjects at Grade 4 alongside alternative GCSE equivalent qualifications. For this course you must have GCSE at Grade 4 or above in Science or you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in a related subject, along with GCSE Grade 4 in Maths and English. If you have completed a Level 2 Electrical Installation in Construction you will have the necessary entry requirements for this course.
