This course is designed to provide a specialist work-related qualification in Business. It is a popular vocational course in which you will develop practical and theoretical skills which will prepare you for work or further study. It is particularly suitable if you wish to obtain a general understanding of Business in order to gain future employment or progress on to Higher Education.

You will study a range of modules, including:
• Exploring Business
• Developing a Marketing Campaign
• Personal and Business Finance
• Managing an Event
• International Business
• Business Decision-making (synoptic)
You will also be expected to attend a work placement for which you must be prepared to travel.
Many of our students progress onto the BA (Hons) Degree in Leadership and Management validated by the University of Hull or progress on to a wide range of Business related degrees elsewhere, including prestigious Russell Group Universities.

Standard Level 3 vocational entry requirements apply. The minimum requirement is at least five GCSEs at Grade 4 or above including Maths or English. If the subject applied for has been taken previously, then at least a Grade 4 at GCSE or Merit at BTEC or OCR Level 2 is required.
Please note: If you have not achieved a Grade 4 or above in GCSE English and/or Maths you will be required to continue studying these alongside your college course.
