I would like to thank my tutors for their helpful feedback and support me during my counselling skills course. I enjoyed doing the course, it was very well presented. The material was well designed, very engaging and easy to understand. I was also very impressed with the feedback format and the way I was able to re-submit my work. I found that having deadlines to submit the assignments kept me motivated to keep learning. I will definitely consider doing other Online Courses with the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group in the future.
Maddy
I enjoyed learning at my own pace which allowed me to plan my own learning time within the course deadlines and around work and home life. The feedback I received from my tutor was always prompt and allowed me to amend my work where required, which helped me reflect and consolidate my learning.
Sarah
I found the course informative and appreciated the detailed feedback, support and gentle challenge my tutors gave me. They got the balance spot on in terms of mentoring and giving learners independence, and I enjoyed the experience.
Sophie
Studying this course was great for my own mental health and it enabled me to secure the qualification I needed to start my dream job in mental health and wellbeing. I would highly recommend an Online Learning course – my tutor was so kind and always gave me great feedback to help me with my studies.
Chloe
I found the courses were relevant to professional and private life and are a free and flexible approach to learning. My courses were an opportunity to reflect on current practices and discover new and improved approaches.
Yvonne
I’m really grateful to my tutors for taking the time to give such in depth feedback, it was amazing to read. It felt like an actual human was marking my work and not a robot!
Joshua
I benefitted not just from learning the basics of different counselling theories and core skills but putting them into practice. The marked written assignments and practical assessment enhanced my knowledge and allowed me to self-reflect. My tutor was supportive throughout, fed back on my work in a way that showed real consideration, and I am now enrolled on a Level 3 Counselling Skills course with the Group!
