The building programme is in 3 phases

Phase 1 The £4m Academy building was completed in September 2004 and houses the majority of the college's 'A' Level provision as well as excellent IT facilities and interactive whiteboards.
Phase 2 The £2m 2½ story Renaissance building houses the Art, Design and Fashion and Health and Social Care Departments, as well as a learndirect Centre on the ground floor. It was completed in March 2006 and officially opened in June 2006.
Phase 3 In August 2007 the Learning and Skills Council awarded £26 million funding to  create a signature teaching & administrative building, sports hall, engineering & construction workshop, science labs, hair & beauty salons and refectory.   Work starts on this in 2008.
