Information, Advice and Guidance
Selby College holds the Matrix Standard for Information, Advice and Guidance. The Matrix Standard is the national quality standard for any organisation that delivers information, advice and/or guidance on learning and work.
Selby College offers every learner the opportunity to receive impartial information and advice particularly in relation to education, training and work related issues. We offer our information and advice service free to everyone as an integral part of our provision. Our staff are experienced and qualified and include the Central Admissions/Every Child Matters Co-odinator and Guidance Support Tutors (for full time learners), and an Adult Information Officer for learners aged 19+.
