A Note to Parents,
Carers and Guardians

SC_FT_10

At Selby College we trust our students and expect that they will take responsibility for reaching their chosen goals. We believe this will allow them to develop and adopt the mature approach needed in the critical stages of their lives, be it in another Full-Time or Part-Time Course, employment, undertaking a vocational or Degree Level Course at Selby College or university.

We know however that the transition from school to adult life can sometimes be difficult. That is where we ask you as parents, to provide the vital home support and encouragement at every stage of your son or daughter's learning. Your involvement is critical to them and to the college. You can find out more about the Post 16 options we offer and what you can expect from Selby College in our Guide for Parents, Guardians and Carers.

We will provide you with updates on your son or daughter's progress. And, should you choose to receive our new Parents' Newsletter you'll get all the latest Selby College news delivered straight to your inbox. To sign up for the parents' newsletter just contact the Marketing Department Tel: 01757 211075 to leave your email address.
