As part of Selby College's commitment to equality and diversity, anti-bullying and anti-harassment we are keen to ensure that all members of staff have undertaken up to date training in the area of equality & diversity, anti-bullying and anti-harassment training.
As legislation in this area changes constantly, staff are required to update on a regular basis. We are in the process of implementing a new web-based training package in order to facilitate the dissemination of equality & diversity, anti-bullying and anti-harassment training to all staff and enable individuals to undertake the training at their own convenience and eliminating the need to take time away from their job to attend courses on a specific date.
All new starters must successfully complete the Equality & Diversity, Anti-Bullying & Anti-Harassment Training at their induction.
The training includes realistic case studies to explore how the law applies in practice, quizzes to check understanding, web links to further sources of information, and a range of advanced accessibility features.
This training has intentionally been kept simple both in its look, operation and completion. Once you have completed the training a report will be generated by Personnel and kept on your personnel file to confirm successful completion.
